MouseGenie offers a new intuitive way to open your favorite programs, documents and folders by drawing imaginary shapes with your mouse arrow. You start by dropping your favorite icons inside MouseGenie's main window before creating a "glyph" and associating it with each icon. A glyph is actually a user defined imaginary shape (letter, figure, or symbol) that you draw by moving your mouse arrow on the screen.

For example, you can tell MouseGenie to open your word processor automatically each time you draw an invisible "W" with your mouse arrow, to run Notepad if you trace an (invisible) "N" on the screen, or to launch your favorite card game by tracing a rectangle, and so on.

With MouseGenie you can stay focused on your work and intuitively open your favorite documents, folders, and programs without the hassle of looking for a particular icon in the tree of your Start menu or the jungle of your desktop or toolbars.

MouseGenie's recognition engine can successfully match shape patterns regardless of size, aspect ratio, or screen position similarities. In other words, if you trace a tall, fat, or small "W" shape on the screen, it will still be recognized as a "W". Furthermore, you can tell MouseGenie to analyze and interpret mouse motion only when you hold down a specific key combination (e.g. Control+Alt). You will find MouseGenie very easy to install, configure, and use. The program can stay permanently alive by sitting in the system tray. MouseGenie also offers additional features like full automatic save, staying always on top, and more.
